Remembering the Vision, Continuing the Mission
Liberty University’s mission of Training Champions for Christ lies at the heart of all we do on Liberty Mountain.
From a vision given by God to Dr. Jerry Falwell, this mission is our driving force as we equip men and women to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
The Lord has blessed Liberty with a beautiful 7,000-acre campus, and over the years, we have built world-class facilities that provide academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities for our students.
With each new build, we keep our mission in mind and construct spaces that will create an effective training ground for current and future students.
The latest construction project will honor and uphold our mission of Training Champions for Christ.
Strategically located at the heart of Liberty’s sprawling campus with the Blue Ridge mountains as the backdrop, The Champion Center will serve as an extension of the Hancock Welcome Center. It will provide an immersive experience that merges state-of-the-art technology and storytelling to reflect our deep historical roots and desire to remain innovative.
The Champion Center will share Liberty’s history and growth in light of its mission and commitment to training tomorrow’s leaders. It will also serve as the perfect facility to host prospective students and their families.
